All Stars community events are led by our Young Leaders - they are volunteers aged 14-20  who are passionate about creating positive change and excited to perform confidently in the wider world…

Joining Young Leaders is a five-month commitment, staring with Leadership trainings and Bridge-Building sessions held at workplaces to learn ‘performance skills’ in careers like Finance, Media, Producing, Marketing and more.

The sessions take place mostly on Wednesdays afterschool, as well as on certain Saturdays where the Young Leaders gather in-person to work as a group.

You will practice key Leadership skills, including:

  • confidence

  • public speaking

  • team-building

  • event producing

  • community/online

    organising

In previous cycles, our Young Leaders have gained inside knowledge about work in fields like finance, marketing, tech, medicine, journalism and the performing arts.

They will then put their skills to the test by helping to produce our next Community Event at the end of the school term in June.

All Young Leaders who successfully complete training and work on the Community Event, are paired with a professional for 1:1 Summer Mentorship to work on bespoke career and personal goals to help them ‘perform their potential’ in the future!
